Wow am I way behind in keeping this blog current. So much has happened since my last post. First and foremost... Zoe Carmen Leilani was born May 8, 2008. She weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz. Since then...well Spencer took a job in Salt Lake City and so we moved across the country...again! Our house in Indianapolis has not sold yet...gotta love the current economy...and what do you know it is now six months later...Zoe can sit up on her own...and I have finally unpacked my computer cords and I can upload photos. So here are some updated pictures.

We had a great time visiting the family in Utah in January. It was a week full of fun. Arie enjoyed all the time she had to play with her cousins. We went swimming at the Murray Rec Center, we saw Kent play volleyball at BYU with all Willardson clan, Spencer and Nick went snowboarding, Arie visited Grandma's school, we went to the Aquarium and the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum. And when we arrived in Indiana we slept for days! Arie prays we will get to go back soon, and she misses Tigger (Grandma's cat) the most!! Enjoy the slide show below.

Merry Christmas
This year has been a challenge. Moving to Indiana, away from the homeland (Utah) has been rough for me. However, as a family we have so many things to be thankful for. Spencer works a lot, but we live comfortably, and enjoy the time we do spend together as a family. We have so many good friends, spread across the nation, and we are continually making more here in Indiana. We are all healthy, for which we are thankful. Arie keeps us on our toes, but also provides us with immeasurable joy! She is full of personality. The other day she told me I was driving too fast, and that I needed to turn the music down. A back seat driver at age 2, what will I do with her as a teenager! A few days ago we were in a hurry to get to the grocery store so we just went in our pajamas. Arie was sitting in the cart (a rare occassion), and about half way through the store she looked down at her legs and exclaimed, "Oh no, I'm in my jammie, jammies are for sleeping in!" It took me a minute to convince her that it was ok to be in the store in our jammies, at least just this once! She is truly a sweetheart. Spencer and I were getting ready to go to his firm holiday party, Spencer was in a tux and I had just put on my dress and finished getting ready when Arie came wandering into the room. She stopped for a second and looked at me and then she said, " Mommy you look so pretty, just like Cinderella." Talk about melt your heart! It is those moments that make it all worth while. I hope all is well, and have a Merry Christmas. Love, Spencer, Jeni, Arie and soon to be baby girl Viernes.
